Stereotyping : it’s to
think or treat someone or a specific group of people due to their skin color or
origins because it has been this way for
a while

actual experience

prefer one person or group of people due to gender or age or other reasons.

Discrimination : the unjust
treatment of different categories of people
2. Give an example of each.
a) Stereotyping is when the students believed that
black people or Asian people should be treated and should be told that they are
less or beneath white people due to the color of their skin.
b) Bias is when the student mentioned that
students with blue eyes are smarter and better then with brown eyes because she
here self has blue eyes.
c) Discrimination is when she gave one category of
people either blue eyes or brown extra time on the play ground.
d) Prejudice is to say that black people aren’t
smarter than white or that they aren’t as good as them.

1. Where,
when and with whom did this experiment take place?
An American School class room in 1950 the days where Tuesday &
Wednesday, it was performed by the class teacher to her students.
2. Describe
the experiment.
She made every student feel both side so that they can know how it feels
to be different.
What were the results?
The students
realized that stereotyping and racial profiling is very bad and they all agreed
to stop it .
3. How
successful do you believe it was?
It very successful because she
convinced them and made them want to stop what is happening

that means I have difficulties when speaking English.

When I try to help the local people
at work and when asked for help from some people I refuse to assist.

witnessed discrimination and did nothing

Once while checking in one of the
hotels in Bangkok I saw a man fighting with the receptionist because the hotel
policy says no Thai people allowed.
